The owner is nice. The location is good and you can find supermarket and bakery easily by some minutes walking. Ten minutes walk to metro station. It has an outdoor table that is good place for eating your breakfast.
The stay at Asnières went very well; the only thing to improve was the fact that the owner had little dogs, which they didn't give us any trouble, but they were doing on the lawn of ... across from the apartment to their needs. Though the apartment is very nice and the owners are available.
Comunque l'appartamento è molto carino e i proprietari disponibili.
The apartment was very spacious and there was everything we needed: everything from towels, pots and pans to a cot bed was provided. The owner spoke very good English and was very welcoming. The location is good. There are several small supermarkets about five minutes away, there are at least three ...bakeries and a greengrocer's shop. It's about 10 min walk to a metro stop and it is quick and easy to get to the city centre.Overall, the apartment was very nice and homely and we would stay there again.
The apartment is comfortable, and well organized. The proximity to grocers allows you to stay more easily especially for families with children. Quickly and easily get to the Centre of Paris by metro.
L'appartamento è confortevole, e ben organizzato. La vicinanza a negozi alimentari consente di soggiornare con più facilità soprattutto per le famiglie con bambini.
Facile e veloce raggiungere il centro di Parigi con la metro.
We wanted a quiet, family style place with 2 bedrooms and a garden and we got it. The picturesque converted stables style accommodation is set in a peaceful location in the owner's pretty garden. It has a cosy, bric-a-brac filled ambience, so don't come expecting uncluttered minimalism. The local ...area is full of attractive old houses but not really any good shops or cafes. The nearest food shops are limited in produce and quality but if you walk 15 minutes (10 without a child) to the RER station Asnieres, there is a big supermarket with a beautiful fish counter complete with crab and lobster tank, incredible fruit and veg area, a vast selecion of meats, cheeses, pates and hams and an awesome bakery section - even household goods. There are also some decent eateries nearby. We liked the brasserie opposite the station which served chocolate mousse and Creme brûlée in big bowls from an old fashioned fridge display. The Asnieres RER train gets you to connecting metro lines in 7 mins, then on to various destinations in 10 to 30 minutes. But we found the connecting hub at Gare St Lazare with its umpteen shops and busy commuters a little hectic and preferred the quieter Metro station Gabriel Peri which is about an 8 to 10 minute walk away (with a child). From here you can reach various destinations in the city centre in about 30 mins to 50 minutes door to door. This commute might be tiring for some, especially after walking round town all day in the heat, but that's the trade off for guaranteed peace and quiet, outside space, and an extra bedroom to escape the kids or the family snorer.
