This beautiful and spacious, typically Parisian apartment is very well located to enjoy all the charms of the French capital including the neighbourhood of its location – Montmartre. Known as the painters’ district and famous for its bohemian past, Montmartre in the XIX and XX centuries was notorious as being a meeting point for important artists such as Pissarro, Toulouse-Lautrec, Steinlen, Van Gogh, Modigliani and Picasso. A walk through the local streets will seduce visitors with its bohemian atmosphere, particularly at the Place du Tertre that is just a ten-minute stroll from the accommodation. The same distance away is the Basilica du Sacré Coeur; located at the top of a hill and offering one of the most beautiful panoramic views over Paris – the authentic romantic postcard of the city.
As well as a really privileged location near the Place Pigalle and Moulin Rouge, guests can really absorb the best of Parisian nightlife. In the area surrounding the apartment there are numerous cafés, terraces, restaurants and especially on the Avenue Trudaine and at Place Gustave Toudouze, a unique meeting point for Parisians out for dinner or a coffee – it is difficult to choose from such a variety!
Travelling into the city is quick and easy, and only 4 minutes’ walk away is the nearest metro stop Pigalle (Lines 2 and 12), which leads directly to the heart of the capital, the famous avenue Champs Elysées, the Arc de Triumph, Madeleine, Place de la Concorde and even Saint Germain des Prés.
This comfortable 100m2 apartment is located on the third floor (with a lift) of a typically Parisian building. Its layout, furnishing and full comfort provides a most peaceful and cosy setting.
