  Very nice and well situated appartment, with a kind and helpful owner who is serving an excellent breakfast!

  Il est sûre qu'à notre prochaine visite sur Paris nous retournerons vers cette chambre d'hôte. l'accueil est vraiment chaleureux, l'appartement sympa et le petit-déjeuné excellent... Nous avons déjà recommandé l'adresse à plusieurs de nos connaissances.

  Een zeer aangenaam en goed ontvangst door dhr S. Z.. Het appartement ligt op wandelafstand van de Sacré-Coeur en het metrostation Abbesses. Heel gezellige buurt. Het ontbijt was verzorgd en voldoende. En zeer kindvriendelijk. Onze dochtertjes hebben zich te pletter geamuseerd.

  10/10 vous recherchez un coin de paradis au coeur de Montmartre ne cherchez plus il est ici une chambre d' hôtes agréable, propre ,calme.Le petit déjeuner est copieux avec un large choix pour les goûts de chacun il ne faut pas manquer la salade de fruits frais maison .Elle est excellente! Vous ...avez une superbe vue des toits de Paris les artistes se prendront pour Van gogh.Proche du métro du sacrée coeur plein de commerce de restaurant du Moulin rouge de quoi ravir une famille au sein de laquelle les goûts sont différents. L'hôte est irréprochable!! 

  Wij, gezin met 2 kinderen (8 en 11 jaar) , hebben genoten van de gastvrijheid van de bewoner, het heerlijke petit-dejeuner, de prachtige locatie (vlakbij de Sacré-Coeur). Uitstekende bedden, een badkamer met bad, alles schoon en fris! echt een aanrader voor een gezin. In Mont-martre zijn genoeg ...sfeervolle restaurants waar je ook prettig eet met kinderen (Franse keuken maar ook voor kinderen spaghetti ed.) 

  We had a fantastic time in Paris, the accomodation was perfect. A beautiful place, a nice view and we appreciated Stephane's hospitallity very much. Our children (14 & 16) liked to be in this B&B because of its privacy and cosyness. The breakfest was every day very good and tastefull. Thank you.

  Alles was heel goed, uitstekend verzorgd en netjes. Elke morgen een heel lekker uitgebreid en met zorg klaargemaakt ontbijt. Super! We hebben genoten en het was een plezier zo echt temidden Parijs te mogen vertoeven. Voor ons betekent het een zeer geslaagde vakantie. Thuis kan het niet beter!

  Wir hatten ein paar wunderschöne Tage in Paris. Die Lage der Unterkunft im Herzen des Montmartre ist perfekt, die Wohnung sauber und einladend und der Kontakt zum Vermieter extrem angenehm. Zu erwähnen bleibt unbedingt das tolle Frühstück, das immer schön präsentiert bereit stand! Vielen Dank!

  Very nice and clean accommodation on the fifth floor. Amazing breakfast lovely prepared by the helpful and friendly contact person. The kids (9 and 12 years old) enjoyed the stay as well as we do. Just a few minutes far from Sacre Coeur and placed in the wonderful district of Montmartre. Near metro ...station from where you can go everywhere. All in one: Absolutely recommendable!

  The accomodation is situated in an area easily accessible by public transport. The cosy apartment is adequately furnished. The only disadvantage it has is its location on the 5th floor, without any lifts.

  Super unterkunft für einen Aufenthalt in Paris. Sehr gute Lage und entfernung zur Metro station. Eben so war der Inhaber die netteste Person die ich bis her bei meinen Reisen kennen gelernt habe und das Frühstück war 1A!!!! Nur zum weiterempfelen!

  Es war ein voller Erfolg und ich kann die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen. Mitten am Montmartre, wenige Meter zu Metro. Die Kontaktperson ist extrem nett und hat uns bei vielen Dingen sehr helfen können. Das Frühstück ist sehr liebevoll zubereitet. Sind die Fenster geschlossen, hört man auch ...nicht den Trubel von Paris. Einfach eine tolle Unterkunft. Auch sprachlich sehr angenehm, da der Vermieter neben französisch auch deutsch und englisch spricht.

  Alles war sauber. Größe der Räume sehr komfortabel. Das einzige was wirklich gestört hat, war die Lautstärke von der Strasse. Nachts war es nicht möglich die Fenster zu öffnen. Aber wenn man in so einer tollen Lage wohnen möchte , muß man das eben akzeptieren. S. ist außerordentlich ...angenehm. Sehr freundlich und offen. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Das Frühstück war eine Freude. Liebevoll zubereitet haben wir uns jeden Morgen darauf gefreut. Alles problemlos. Freundlicher Kontakt.

  The positives - The host was gracious and helpful; the apartment was clean; the beds were comfortable; the breakfast was very good. The negatives - The apartment is a 6th floor walk-up. This could cause difficulties for some travellers and should be noted in the description. The bedrooms also look ...directly unto noisy rue Lepic but if you are fit and don't mind the noise it is a great place to stay.

  Todo muy bien solo que al finalizar la estancia enviamos un email al propietario para agradecerle de todo pero no recibimos respuesta. Nos hubiera gustado recibir una respuesta. No tuvimos ningún problema en el apartamento.

  The landlord is extremely nice and helpful. The apartment is very well equipped including radio and some travel books to read.

  War eigentlich perfekt, nur war leider die ganze Familie krank, aber von der Wohnung und der Lage hat es super gepasst. Auch der Eigentümer war sehr nett, wir konnten sogar am Abreisetag länger in der Wohnung bleiben.

  Artist's loft in typically Parisien location with large choice of restaurants, delicatessens and market like, fresh food stalls all close at hand. Perfect base for walks arount Montmartre and trips to Paris. Local car park took just EUR62 for 4 days parking. The host was helpful and ...accomodating. The beds are comfortable and the appartment is relatively spacious and well equiped. Our children aged 16, 14 and 11 all enjoyed the ambiance (despite cold and rainy weather which brought us in early most days).  

  Appartment was not very clean if you looked into more detail (oven, refridgerator, dish washer were dirty). Beds were good and clean. All mentioned facilities were present but not all clean.

  Appartment was nice. Be ready to walk up to 5th floor (house does not have elevator), but view is nice. Not much noice from the street. Good beds and bathroom. Short distance to Moulin Rouge.

  This was a fantastic apartment. The owner was absolutely lovely and gave us directions to nearby bars and restaurants that he recommended (they were great!). The coffee was great, there was wifi. He really went above and beyond to meet all our needs.

  This apartment was just perfect for us; 2 couples. It is spacious, conveniently located and clean. S provided excellent care of all of our requirements. We especially appreciated his help in getting an early exit, including arranging for our taxi. This spacious apartment has many extras suitable for a longer stay. Thanks very much S.

  Ideale Lage mitten im trubeligen Montmartre, jeden Abend zu Fuß zur Sacre Coeur, viele nette kleine Restaurants und Läden vor der Haustür, geräumige, helle Ferienwohnung mit Flair (schönes altes Atelier, allerdings viele Stufen, kein Fahrstuhl), sehr sympathischer Vermieter, der uns freundlich ...und mit vielen hilfreichen Tipps begrüßt hat, jederzeit wieder! 

  This is a wonderful apartment. The skylight and living areas are charming. S could not have been more helpful or welcoming. A drawback is the 5 story walk up so be prepared for for some exercise. However, S helped carry our suit cases up and down the stairs. We were fortunate to have cool weather... in July - the apartment woud likely be very warm if the weather were hot. We would recommend this apartment and would be happy to stay there again. 

  La verdad es que el sitio es inmajorable, Montmartre es fantastico. Es un sitio para familias y para todos, tiene mucho encanto. Lo unico que me ha sorprendido es el estado de la puerta principal que necesitaria mantenimiento ya que no da tan buena impresion. Sino el apartamento es muy bonito. La ...persona de contacto es muy calida y dispuesto a orientarnos y ayudarnos!  

  The apartment is in a great location. Security is great! The creperie and bakery that are nearest to the apartment were excellent. You do need to climb many stairs to the apartment but it is great to be high above the street. The apartment was all that we expected except that the washing machine was... broken. Our host provided a credit so that we could do our laundry and told us where the laundry was located. The laundry was very nice. The new washing machine arrived the day before our departure. I would return to this apartment upon another visit to Paris. 

  Wir waren mit allem zufrieden und haben uns wohlgefühlt!

  Die Lage dieser Unterkunft ist sehr gut. Man erreicht die Metro-Sationen der Linien 2, 12 und 13 in sehr kurzer Zeit. Auch Montmatre und Sacré-Coeur sind fußläufig sehr gut schnell erreichbar. Wir haben vieles, das diese Unterkunft bietet nicht genützt, wie Spüler, Waschmaschine, Tiefkühler ...oder Herd. Aber für unsere Jugend war es absolut wichtig, dass es freien Internet-Zugang gibt. Herr S. Z. ist eine absolut gute Kontaktperson - zuvorkommend, freundlich und sehr pünktlich. Wir haben uns in Paris sehr wohl gefühlt und können dieses Appartement nur weiterempfehlen.

  Hatte viel Charme, als ehemaliges Maler-Ateilier am Montmartre. Bettwäsche-Hygiene mit doppelten Anzügen war sehr angenehm. Gute Betten. Lärmpegel der Strasse hoch, aber gute Schallschutz-Wirkung der Fenster. Badezimmer neu; das Heisswasser kam rasch und in genügender Menge. Eine Bibliothek mit ...literarischen und künstlerischen Büchern stand zur Verfügung. 

  What a wonderful apartment! The only complaint was that it was on the 5th floor, but we knew that ahead of time. It was spacious and had so much light during the day--wonderful windows and sky lights! The contact person was excellent even with a problem on our end of not having working cell ...phones to contact him. Was located within walking distance of Sacre Couer and 2 different metro stops and tons of wonderful restaurants, bakeries, and several grocery stores. 

  Apartment in great location, lots of shops cafes and restaurants in area. Ideal place to base yourself while exploring Paris. Only small drawback is five flights of stairs. S. very helpful, informative and welcoming. Would definitely recommend this apartment .

  Ein sehr schönes Künstleratelier zentral gelegen in sehr gutem sauberen Zustand. Alles da, was man braucht, großes Bad mit Dusch-BadeWanne kleine funktionale Küche. Betten breit und bequem mit herrlicher Aussicht über Montmatre. Sehr freundlicher und bemühter Kontakt, der mit vielen Tips ...unterstützend war. Sehr flexibel bei allen Absprachen, schöpft das bestmögliche für den Gast aus (An- Abreise).

  I just wanted to say it was a great place with a fantastic host S. and although the apartment could do with a bit of tender loving care as there are a number of broken things there overall it was warm and cosy and in a briliant location quiet and ven those 85 stairs I got used to in the end.

  Für uns als fünf-köpfige Familie war das ein idealer Ort, an dem sich alle sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Zentral gelegen, charmant, einfach klasse!

  Top-Lage. Die Wohnung ist das Treppensteigen wert. Hat alles bestens geklappt. Vermieter nahm rechtzeitig mit uns Kontakt auf und auch unsere Sonderwünsche wurden erfüllt (zeitliche Flexibilität).

  A very nice authentic apartment, in a vibrant neighborhood with more than enough typical food stores and cafes bistros etc. Please be aware that the apartment is on the fifth floor and can only be reached via the staircase (92 steps).

  The apartment is in a truly magnificent area, right amongst the bars and restaurants of Montmarte. Close also to two Metro stations, and a short walk to Sacre Coeur. The only downside: there are a few flights of stairs up to the apartment, but hey, it's good exercise!

  Das Appartment ist sehr schön im Montmarte gelegen und an einer auch nachts belebten Straße. Das Loft mit stimmungsvoller antiker Ausstattung vermittelt ein inspirierendes Pariserlebnis. Der Vermieter war nett und zuverlässig. Insgesamt eine 1a- Empfehlung.

  A really lovely apartment in the heart of Montmatre, so expect the hustle and bustle that goes with this great area. S. was an excellent host and full of information and advice about the local environs. The apartment has everything you need, the compact kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, but ...with loads of places to eat just on the doorstep, why would you? We are a family of 5 and there was plenty of room for us all. May not be best suited to unfit people - 90 odd steps up and down to the apartment but this added to the charm for us, though. One good tip - buy 10 trip metro tickets rather than the day passes unless you plan to do loads of metro in one day. Watch out for pickpockets if using Blanche metro with bags - otherwise Rue Lepic is an excellent choice. We'd stay again

  A very beatiful appartment at Montmartre, and the hirer is very friendly and helpful

  Posizione ottima! Vicino al metro e ad altri mezzi pubblici, nella zona del Sacre Coeur e del Moulin Rouge, piena di ristorantini, café, boulangerie (panetterie) e negozietti di ogni tipo. Incantevole!!! Il proprietario S. è stato molto gentile e disponibile via mail; all'appartamento abbiamo poi ...incontrato una sua cortesissima collaboratrice, M-J, altrettanto disponibile nel fornirci consigli e nel venire incontro alle nostre esigenze. L'appartamento è veramente molto bello, atmosfera molto parigina e autentica! Anche se non tutto è perfetto (ma dovendo passarci solo alcuni giorni è più che soddisfacente), è comunque pulito, molto spazioso e luminoso, e i 5 piani a piedi alla fine si fanno volentieri. In 5 (noi, le nostre due figlie teenagers e il bambino più piccolo) ci siamo trovati splendidamente. Ci torneremmo!!! 

  A beautiful and comfortable apartment in Montmartre. It was really great for our family get together in Paris. The owner/administrator was kind and helpful, though there was a mixup about the time of our arrival. Definitely have your mobile phone working and available for when you get there. ...Apartments are a great alternative to hotels for people travelling as a group like us, especially when they are well administered, well supplied and clean, as in this case.

  Couldn't have been a better stay in a better location. The apartment is 6 floors up (which is clearly stated on the web-page) so not for all. However this adds to the view and removes any street noise. S. was extremely helpful & flexible throughout the stay.

  The apartment is in a very old building - and as often seen in France - the staircase area really need to be "upgraded". The apartment has a very nice larger sleeping room + and extra smaller one with a 3/4 bed. Bathroom also perfect in size and equipment. Very nice area with a LOT of possibilities ...to buy very nice food - so no real need for using the small kitchen. Living room would need to be next project for a small upgrade. Very kind and helpfull owner and we really enjoyed staying in this area of Paris.

  Het appartement is mooi gelegen in een gezellige buurt met veel winkels en cafés en heeft een prachtig uitzicht over Parijs. Het is ruim en gezellig ingericht. Erg aan te raden.

  Appartement très sympathique, bien équipé, propre et très bien situé dans un quartier vivant, peu touristique et où on se sent en sécurité. Il y a effectivement un petit ascenseur qui fonctionne très bien, installé apparemment au printemps 2014. Le seul inconvénient pourrait être la ...chaleur durant une période d'été caniculaire vu la situation sous les toits. S était très sympathique, arrangeant et accueillant, a donné plein de tuyaux pour de bons restos, etc.

  We had a very nice time in a very nice appartement.

  The owner was incredibly nice and the flat breathtaking. It was absolutely clean and the location was spectacular. It is exactly as the photos. We couldn't have stayed in a better place. We can't wait to go back to Paris to stay there again. Thank you for making our time in Paris so pleasant.

  The apartment is lovely, has everything you need, it's in a good location, close to Sacre Coeur. In the area are a lot of shops, restaurants and metro station is very close.

  Viel schöner kann man in Paris nicht wohnen: Das helle, freundliche Appartment, in dem man sich sofort zuhause fühlt, bequeme Betten mit richtigen Decken, ein tolles Bad und viel Atmosphäre.Dazu der Charme des Montmartre-Viertels mit seinen vielen Restaurants und Geschäften. S ist ein ...superfreundlicher und zuvorkommender Vermieter. Gerne wieder! 

  Die originelle Wohnung in bester Lage hat uns sehr gefallen. Empfang bestens geklappt, Abgabe auch. Vermieter ist eine sehr zuvorkommende Person.

  In a great location, owner was extremely helpful on arrival and departure and fitted in with our travel arrangements. The area is great with lots of good food shops, cafes and decent restaurants and very easy to get to the metro to get around Paris. The apartment is very light and airy, well ...equipped - it's not five star luxury but has everything you need for a comfortable stay and I'd definitely go back if we want to stay in this area. The photos on the site are accurate. A really great stay!

  Tolle Lage mitten in Montmartre, gute Ausstattung, sehr sauber, sehr freundlicher Vermieter, reibungslose Abwicklung.

  Fantastic apartment, we stayed 3 nights (4 adults and 2 children) and it was excellent. The apartment is located in a good area, with good atmosphere and many restaurants and bars and subway 5 minutes. The windows allow to eliminate the noise from the street. S was very friendly and allowed us to ...make our stay perfect (ex. leave luggage in the flat to allow us to visit the city incluiding the last day without carrying them with us). Surely I will recommend this apartment

  What a charming apartment! Way up on the fifth floor (there is a lift), the views from front and back were beautiful and there was a nice cross breeze to keep us cool. The kitchen is tiny but well equipped. Nice bathroom with a big tub and washing machine (although we could not figure out how to use... it). Comfy beds. Plenty of towels.S was very responsive and helpful. The restaurants he recommended were excellent. The apartment is located on a street that has everything: ATM, bakery, fresh produce, seafood, meat, cheese many restaurants, cafes and shops. It's just a quick walk to the metro. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay! 

  L'appartement est idéalement placé (à 3 minutes du métro). Propre, fonctionnel, fenêtres bien isolées. Pleins de restos sympa dans le quartier. Accueil chaleureux. J'y retournerai.

  Authentic Parisian apartment. We loved it although it was on the 5th floor with a very small lift. This made it difficult transporting a baby and pram daily. Our host was very welcoming and informative. The location is great for restaurants and shopping and a short distance to all the other major attractions.

  Wonderful location. Great to find accommodation suitable for four singles!Check-in was very easy.Communication with S was easy and he couldn't have been more helpful.

  Incredible location. Picturesque area of Montmartre. Delicious food shops, bakeries, restaurants, and cafes along your walk to the metro. Cute, comfortable apartment with great views. Real Parisians, not just tourists live in this area, though everyone spoke English. Serviceable kitchen, but we ...hardly used it because of the delicious cafes nearby. When I close my eyes and think of Paris, I think of Rue Lepic! 

  This property was outstanding. Really made us feel like Parisians, living on a historic street in a historic part of the city. 5th floor with great winding staircase + lift. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. Bright, clean, small serviceable kitchen, windows that look out on Rue Lepic, great coffee... machine. Even navigated the single bathroom for the 6 of us with no trouble. Could not have been happier. Want to live like a native? Stay here! 

  We enjoyed our stay in this apartment and were very reluctant to leave. We loved watching the lively street scene of diners eating at the bistros on Rue Lepic. The windows are double glazed which kept most of the noise out at bedtime. Our kids loved the nightly ritual of buying crepes from the crepe... stand across the street. We lived like locals and found the location so convenient. We were spoilt for choice with the myriad of good boulangeries, restaurants and other food shops. The manager was very prompt in answering our questions and met us at the apartment to show us around. He also explained how to use the coffee machine and washing machine. There was a clothes rack to dry our clothes which suited us fine. The apartment was spacious and exactly as described and shown in the photos.  

  The apartment was exactly as described. What wasn't described was the ideal location between the two surrounding tourist attractions of Sacre Couer and the Moulin Rouge. The apartment was very light and very comfortable. We have stayed in Paris many times, this will take some beating.
