This charming 30m2 apartment is located in the centre of Paris and is the perfect accommodation choice for a romantic stay with a partner. The peaceful location in a tranquil area just a short stroll from the Place de la République provides fabulous public transport services for visitors with numerous bus and metro connections available. Visitors can move quickly and easily around the city
from the two metro stations near the apartment: Goncourt and Parmentier. This beautiful little love nest is really ideal for a couple wanting to visit Paris and equally suitable for business travelers. The main room has a sofa, television, table and two chairs; offering a perfect spot for breakfast and the chance to taste the wonderful freshly baked pastries that can be bought at the corner bakery. The American-style, fully-equipped kitchen provides guests the facilities to prepare their favourite home-cooked dishes. The apartment has one bedroom with two single beds that can be joined as a double bed. The fitted bathroom has a shower/bath, sink, WC and heated towel rack. The pale shades and parquet flooring add to the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. The nearby metro enables guests the possibility to travel at ease all over this beautiful city with a huge selection of attractions and things to see and do. Visitors can take a stroll along the River Seine, take a trip in a typical canal boat, or enjoy the fantastic views from the towers of the Notre-Dame Cathedral. A walk around the romantic streets of Montmartre to take photos from the Sacre Coeur is an absolute must, as well as a trip to the Eiffel Tower; just as beautiful a site by day as it is by night with stunning and truly romantic views over the French capital.
This apartment was really very good. It's in a vibrant residential area of Paris with plenty of restaurants, bars, supermarkets and, most importantly, bakeries and delicatessens, within a very short walk. In a residential area you don't pay tourist prices, and you don't ...meet any tourists. An easy walk or Metro to central Paris. These 19th Century Paris apartments are showing their age a bit but are all the better for it. This is proper Paris. No Wi-Fi - my idea of heaven
We enjoyed our stay in this cozy and pleasant apartment in a good location, close to metro station Goncourt (and within 5-10 min walk to three others: Parmentier, Republique and Oberkampf). The apartment was clean and nicely decorated, kitchen equipped well enough for preparing simple meals. Also, ...the double bed consists of two normal-sized beds (most double beds in Paris seem to be 140 cm wide), which was a big plus for us. Sound insulation could be better: the windows didn't entirely block out the noise of traffic (fortunately there isn't a lot of traffic in the street) and we could hear the people next door and upstairs walking around their flat. It's an old building, so probably nothing to be done about that. What we missed most was wifi, which was (for us at least) a major drawback.
Great location and reasonable quiet with the windows shut. Good heating (as I stayed in winter). Only issue was no wifi, but good co-working cafe called CRAFT not too far, and a lot of wifi in Brasseries. Suggest an upgrade to the cups, glasses, cutlery and cooking utensils. Other than that the bed ...was really comfortable and linen and pillows clean. I would book this apartment again. Highly recommend it as good value.
the apartment has proved as described. suitable for two people max but very cozy and intimate. the kitchen is well equipped but sufficient to prepare simple meals. the metro station is very near ... as well as the bus stop linking the House with the gare du nord. certainly recommended. the only ...downside is the handover that occurred at the front desk at a hotel, not too close to the House (20 minute walk with trolley)
