Open House Spain S.L. collects information from our users at several points on our Web site:
Booking (General)
We request personal information on the booking and enrollment forms (accommodation
and owner form). A user must provide contact information (such as name, e-mail, passport
number and address) and in some cases financial information (such as credit card number,
expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer's requests.
If we have trouble processing a booking, the information is used to contact the user.
Booking (Accommodation)
Personal information such as name, email, passport number, age, gender and contact
details are shared with the owner of the apartment. We encourage you to contact the owner
regarding the use of your personal information. The information we collect is used only for
booking purposes, to notify you of your reservation status and to ask for feedback about
your stay and is not shared with any other party. Apart from the price and remaining balance
of the booking, no financial or payment information is shared with the owner. No financial or
payment information is shared with any other party. All credit card processing is done by
Open House Spain.
Owner Information
We request personal information from owners as part of our booking system. Information
such as name, address of apartment booked, telephone number, mobile phone number and
email address and shared with the customer after payment has been received in order to
complete the booking process. We use this information to contact an owner only for business purposes relating to their apartment and booking reservations. No owner information is shared
with any third party.

Profile
We store information that we collect through log files to create a profile of our users. A
profile is stored information that we keep on the entirety of our users that details their
viewing preferences. Consequently, collected information is not tied to the users
personally identifiable information. We do not share our customer profile with other
third parties. We do store the personal information of our customers in order to process
our customer`s requests. We provide customer's personal information, such as name,
e-mail, address, but not credit card data or other payment related data, to third parties.
These are exclusively our contracting partners who own the accommodations we offer
for rent on our website, as well as our contracted language schools. No other third parties
are informed about our customers or of our customer's personal data.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the
user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information
while on our site. We use session ID cookies. For the session ID cookie, once users
close the browser, the cookie simply terminates. No user information is passed from
our website to any other website.
Third Party Advertising
No other third parties advertise on our website.
Log Files
Like most standard Web site servers we use log files. This includes internet protocol
(IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages,
platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer
the site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic
information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally
identifiable information.

Former customers will not be contacted for promotion purposes after their day
of departure.

We do not have a newsletter.
Customer Service
We communicate with users on a regular basis to provide requested services and
with regard to issues relating to their account, we correspond via email or phone,
in accordance with the users wishes. On the day of departure from a holiday rental
our customers are sent an email asking for feedback about their stay with a referral
discount promotion.

When users submit sensitive information via the Web site, their information
is protected both online and off-line.
When our booking form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as
credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected by the
best encryption software in the industry - SSL (128 bit encryption). While
on a secure page, such as our booking form, the lock icon on the bottom
of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer
becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when users are just
'surfing'.

While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also
do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our
users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is
restricted in our offices. Our employees must use password-protected screen-
savers when they leave their desk. When they return, they must re-enter their
password to re-gain access to user information. Furthermore, ALL employees are
kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Any time new policies are
added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we
place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our users' information is protected.
