"Excellent apartment, the owner was very friendly and explained us everything We needed to know regarding the apartment and location. Building only 30 metres from metro pigalle and around 300 metres from famous cabaret Moulin Rouge. Excellent views over Paris including Eiffel tower. Quiet accommodation in a very vibrating area of central Paris. The only disadvantage was the fact that there is no lift but we knew abou it beforehand from the description. No problems whatsoever. Very happy after all! "

"appartamento spazioso, proprietario cordiale, bella vista,la "caffettiera" è quella con bollitore brocca e filtri di carta per caffè all'americana, il divano è nuovo, le maniglie e le prese di corrente non sono in perfetto stato ma non ho avuto nessun problema, un termoconvettore in salotto,C'E' LA FINESTRA IN BAGNO C'E'.. la doccia è potente..ci starebbe bene uno stereo..ci tornerei "

"Tolle Lage, toller Ausblick - da lohnt sich der Aufstieg in den 6ten Stock. Leider ist die Wohnung NICHT wie in der Beschreibung ausgestattet...es fehlen u.a.: Ofen, Hifi-Anlage, Video... Außerdem klebt ein Nicht-Raucherschild an der Tür!? Besteck ist verbogen, Teller nur in kleiner Anzahl vorhanden - wenn das geändert würde: auch hier volle Punktzahl.
Das Mobiliar wurde modernisiert und ist jetzt schöner als auf den Bildern. Der freie Wifi-Anschluß war Gold wert."

"On the website it inidicated that the appratment had an iron which turned out not to be the case. Thus, my recommendation is that you just verify these items with the owners. That, however was the only inconvenience. Other than that it was exactly how it was advertised."

"Some furnishings/fittings were rather basic, but everything was really clean and everything worked (apart from a few light bulbs!) The location is superb - only a few steps from Pigale Metro but not at all noisy - loads of shops, bars and restaurants in easy walking distance. You have to climb six flights of stairs, but the view when you get there: wow! - all of Paris - beautiful! A very warm and friendly welcome too. "

"Die Ausstattung war sehr einfach - stimmte nicht mit den Internet Bildern überein.
6. Etage (ohne Aufzug) - nicht zumutbar.
Folgende im Internet angegebenen Einrichtungsgegenstände waren NICHT vorhanden:
Video, HiFi, Toaster, Ofen; Fruchtpresse, Bügeleisen.
KEINE Steckdose im Bad !!!"

"The apartment was as promised 6 floors up which was quite taxing, even after a few days practise. The entry into the apartment has a red tiled floor which appears a little dated but don't let this put you off as it sets the tone for the rest of the place.
The apartment is bedecked with old mirrors, pictures and masonry. The bathroom is well appointed but ladies should be aware that they may be visible when showering from the window opposite. My job was to have the first shower and steam up the window! The bedroom has more than sufficient storage and extra blankets. It can get warm in the summer even with the window open but you can then hear the ambience of central Paris. The kitchen is bijou with a 2 ring ceramic hob, a fridge, a microwave, coffee machine and kettle. Sufficient crockery exists.The main living room has a wide settee cum bed, a table for eating and some old chairs. The TV (with French TV channels only) and the router allow some modern connectivity. However, to save the best for last, and this is a sheer delight: the view from either balcony is breathtaking: from the Arc du Triomphe, past the Eiffel Tower to the gold roof of the French Institution and a myriad of churches in between - superb. I can recall taking one last look before we left. Many evening was spent just watching the lights on the Eiffel Tower flicker and watching the people wander by in Pigalle central. Don't be perturbed by the vicinity of the red light district. Yes it is just around the corner but life goes on. Shopping can be done by using the superb Carrefour 200m turn left at the bottom of Rue Houdon. There is a superb bakery at the bottom of
the road and McCafe just on the right. The Pigalle Metro (one book of 10 tickets cost 25 Euros) is just outside the door - ideal. In summary the apartment is not ideally set up with all the modern conveniences you may have at home but the location and that view are magnificent. Value for Money I'd give it 10/10."
