"The accommodation and location was very good. However, I was not aware that I would have to sign a contract document, written in French (which I didn't understand), when I arrived. I was not aware that was a requirement when I booked the unit. If I had known, I would not have proceeded with the booking.
It would have also been very helpful to have had, written in English, how the DVD/CD player worked.
Also, I think it needs to be mentioned that the owners do not live on the premises.As I was travelling by myself, I would have preferred the owners to be in the building security wise.
Also, when the one window in the apartment and glass doors were closed at night, there was no real ventilation. I understand now why the apartment write-up says 'good ventilation during the day' or words to that affect."

"Accommodation itself was everything one would expect from an old apartment complex. Cooking facilities were good for small meals location to metro and supermarkets/restaurants was fantastic! Clean on arrival and had no issues with the free internet access.
There were a few leaks and issues that come with an older building, the lock on the front door is ancient -- we did have a major issue unlocking the front door on our first attempt however once we had worked out the 'trick' to it was easier, i would recommend however that the owners update this feature.
Only real complaint has nothing to do with the apartment itself but with the service offered by the owners. When we did encounter the lock problem (police were involved to help us get in) as well as a polite question in regards to using the washing machine (manual is in french making it difficult for us and wasn't easily found) the owners were very rude and didn't seem to want to help at all. This is fair if they advertise the fact that they will not be of service or accessible for questions during the stay. However not having advertised this we were a bit taken aback by the poor level of communication when problems arose.
All in all lovely apartment in good location of Paris close to all amenities, Owners should either be a little more friendly when asked for help or else inform clients they will not be accountable or contactable during the stay.
I would recommend this apartment for a place to stay however i would warn potential clients that they will need to work everything out for themselves and to expect poor service if they require any.

"Neatly maintained considering every reasonable need of the guest.Makes the guest feel at home.
Suggestion:The sharp edges of the glass panel on which the TV is placed are open. Considering its location in the apartment, it is likely that the guest may be injured if he\she is a little inattentive.This applies equally to the glass-topped table also. Also, the metal cap at one leg of a chair is little protruding and hence a likely source of injury."
