Paris vacation rentals: Stylish apartment in the 17th district

  This apartment is anything but quiet even though it is billed as such. The description provided:"the living room has a big window facing a small garden on a very quiet street" is misleading. The living room and bedroom face the street and not a garden. The so-called garden is just the ...landscaping for the building in front. There is enough vehicular traffic to keep you awake at night unless you close the windows. Plus there is a group of young men who gather in the street below every evening to play soccer and carouse until all hours. Worst of all, there were renovations going on in the building and the noise was pretty bad. There is a baby next door who cries late at night as babies will. Picture 17 is not that of the building in question but of the building in front which is much nicer.
