Location saisonnière Paris: Appartement pour 4 au Marais

  My son and I found the location fantastic. The apartment is so close to a lot of the sights. We were able to walk to a lot of the main attractions. The apartment itself was lovely and clean and spacious for the two people of us with good facilities. The bathroom however is a little cramped, you need... to make sure you don't inadvertently touch the heated towel rail when you go to the toilet or use the shower as everything is very close together. My only real negative was the lock on the door. It was very difficult to use and stiff. I asked for it too be looked at and was ignored. This was a real worry for us as one night we couldn't budge the door open and had to go out onto the street and ask the man from the kebab shop next door to use brute strength to shove the door open so we could get in. Unfortunately I can only say the the service was average. Communication was not good enough. I emailed to ask if we could come into the apartment early and received an email (after we had left our home country) to say that we could come to the apartment at 1200 to drop our gear off and sign the papers but couldn't check in until 1500 because the apartment was still being cleaned. This was understandable, however when we arrived at the apartment at 1200 there was nobody to meet us. I phoned the contact person to say we had arrived and he found the email that was sent to us but knew nothing about it. His advice was just to come back at 1500. Lucky for us another person who lived in the block of apartments helped us to find our apartment (there are 4 floors and 4 sections to each floor) and the cleaner very kindly let us us leave our luggage and we went out for a walk. The contact person then finally arrived at 1530. We just had to stand on the street and wait. This scenario is not good enough, and to top it off we had traveled from New Zealand and were exhausted. 

  We couldn´t figure out how to turn the heater on, I think we were told but I wasn´t there. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay, and hopefully we can return one day.

  Würde ich ohne Einschränkung 100 % empfehlen. Lage und Ausstattung wie beschrieben. War ein toller Aufenthalt.

  The flat was very comfortable, attractive and well-equipped. The contact person was friendly and helpful. Everything went well. The situation is lovely, in an attractive street that bustles during the day, but is quiet at night. We loved watching the passers-by from the window. We walked everywhere ...locally and it was convenient for the Metro and shops. This is our first apartment let in Paris, usually we stay in a hotel, but this was much better. It was more spacious and relaxing, we could cook our own meals or pop out to one of the many local restaurants and cafes. I recommend this flat to anyone visiting Paris. The contract was clear and explained to us by the contact person. The flat was well-equipped, clean and comfortable. 

  Convenient location, newly remodeled and reasonable price. A+ for washer and dryer cause we met my son after his 10 days school trip. We definitely were satisfied for staying in this apartment for 3 nights. We were late for the meet time, when we arrived, the manager Caroline has had everything ...set up and gave us some helpful information. Thank you C. The bath is a little bit small for a 200lb and up. 

  Service from the owner/agent was excellent, easy to deal with, good english, showed us around the area, where the supermarket and metro was, ATMs etc, all through the apartment. Unbelievable location - quiet over night and happening place during the day, no traffic, lots of restaurants, easy ...walking to major attractions and only a few minutes to the Metro - highly recommend this as a destination. Accommodation, fantastic kitchen, good bathroom, comfy bed, nice view over the square/street. Its small, its Paris, TV needed some work but we weren't using it anyway. The lift was very very handy. Overall apart from the size of the place, pretty hard to fault. The floors are a bit squeaky and sound clearly travels in the old building from floor to floor.  

  Lage und Ausstattung des Appartements hervorragend! Die Kontaktperson höflich und freundlich, hat aber viel zu schnell und undeutlich Englisch gesprochen. Ich habe nicht mitbekommen, dass man einen Code unten an der Haustür eingeben muß, Zahlen sind auf einem Blatt in der Wohnung notiert. Ansonsten war alles erstklassig!

  Alloggio in posizione ottimale; abbastanza silenzioso nonostante il lavoro di restauro esterno al palazzo. Buona l'attrezzatura all'interno dell'appartamento degli elettrodomestici. Nota dolente: abbiamo ricevuto poche indicazioni dal referente durante il check-in. (nessuna istruzione sulla ...gestione dello scaldabagno e degli elettrodomestici) sicuramente per la sua scarsa conoscenza dell'Inglese. Assolutamente nessuna indicazione ci e' stata fornita sulla modalita' del check-out, che poi abbiamo scoperto si poteva fare da soli, lasciando le chiavi dell'appatamento sopra la cucina; avremmo evitato di aspettare un'ìora e mezza il referente per nulla... Nel complesso comunque il nostro soggiorno e' stato molto confortevole. Grazie Cordiali Saluti 

  I was charged 30 Euros for late arrival even though we were there within the specified time. I am not sure how you explain that. Otherwise the apartment and our stay was wonderful. If I was there longer I would want an oven so as to enjoy buying at the markets. Peter Rainey

  we had a great stay there. so well situated. we were greated at the door upon arrival so that was great to begin with. we left something in the appartment and our host was kind enough to mail to another address in France. Very helpful! Highly recomment it! thank you for making our stay a memorable ...one. we will come back! window to the street that cuts out all noises, internet, full kitchen and being greated with a friendly face is very comforting when we come from afar. 

  L'appartamento è perfetto e ben attrezzato, la posizione è eccellente nel quartiere del Marais; gli unici inconvenienti sono stati determinati dal rumore e dalla presenza degli operai che lavoravano davanti alla nostra stanza da letto e che ci hanno impedito di aprire la finestra o di riposare la ...mattina (non ci era stato detto che stanno ristrutturando la corte interna, una volta finiti i lavori, consiglierei l'appartamento a parenti e amici anche per la sua silenziosità, trovandosi peraltro in una strada pedonale); altra sorpresa è stata l'impossibilità di parcheggiare nel cortile le biciclette che avevamo prenotato (ci era stato detto che potevamo lasciarle all'interno mentre ciò non è consentito). Nonostante tutto si è trattato di un bellissimo soggiorno, da consigliare.  

  Really good location. Bustling in the day, but peaceful at night. Loads of boulangeries, patisseries and cafes within 5 minutes walk, as well as wonderful take away felafals right o the doorstep. Apartment was exactly as described, very comfy, stylishly decorated with all the facilities required. ...Owner met us precisely on time and check in was swift and uncomplicated. 10 minute walk to Notre Dam. WIFI extremely useful in planning days out. Metro 5 minutes walk. All in all..10/10 

  Unico punto negativo il fatto che vi erano lavori sulla facciata e tutte le mattine prima delle 8 non si poteva più riposare, non è bello essere in vacanza e doversi svegliare come un pendolare, sarebbe stato opportuno avvertire prima per poter decidere di trovare altro alloggio.

  Location. Location.Good comfortable bed. Spare bed was also very good. Kitchen very well set up. Very convenient to restaurants, clothing outlets, groceries and the Metro. Very helpful owner.

  Great location offered at a reasonable price. The flat could have been a little cleaner although the bed linen was fresh. Also we couldn't find any details on the appliances or heating system nor when to dispose of our rubbish.

  We arrived at the apartment at 3pm (as discussed by email weeks before) to find that the previous occupants had only just left and the cleaner was just starting to clean. Not a great start but we were amicable. On our return a few hours later, the tumble drier and washing machine were both still ...running with the bedding for the spare bed still soaking wet along with towels and dish towels. We had to stay in and dry this. I spoke to our vendor who said he was angry about the situation but nothing he could do, I asked him to have the owner call me but I was ignored. There was a sheet on the spare bed that had been used by previous occupants where my daughter was expected to sleep. We asked for some cash back as our first night had been ruined but were told absolutely not! Very poor service! 

  El apartamento esta muy bien situado. Muy cerca de la estación de metro de St. Paul. en el barrio de Marais. Se puede ir andando a Notre Dame para haceros una idea. Justo a la salida del metro en la calle hay una panaderia y justo al lado hay un supermercado.Respecto a la limpieza del apartamento ...estaba bien. Pero tienen que procurar dejar vacio el filtro de la cafetera y el del lavajillas. El alojamiento hay algunas lamparas que no funcionan. En el salón tres lamparas y en el dormitorio otras tres. Deberían procurar cambiar las bombillas. Por otro lado es un detalle encontrarte detergente para la lavadora. Aceite,sal y vinagre para cocinar o hacer ensaladas. Nos estaban esperando a nuestra llegada y nos explicaron el funcionamiento de todo. Muy buena comunicación. Volvería alojarme. 

  The whole process was professional and seamless - from the pre-arrival email correspondence, to the meeting of the contact, to the staying in the apartment and finally to the departing - we arrived at the apartment at 17:30 and within 2 minutes of arrival was promptly met by our contact - he ...explained the layout of the apartment and the details of the agreement in very clear English which was extremely useful as we only had a small vocabulary of French words. The area could not have been better placed - 15 minutes’ walk from the RER A to get to Disney and 5 to 10 minutes leisurely walk to Notre Dame from where the Bato Bus stopped – If you are wanting to see the sights I would suggest staying clear of the Metro and use the Bato Bus as they stop at a number of major sights. We found some lovely restaurants very near to the apartment. I would most definitely use this website to book another visit to Paris again and would unreservedly recommend this apartment if you are 4 or less. The hustle and bustle of Paris could be seen from the Juliette balcony in the evenings – a lovely family stay – thank you.  

  Lage super, Haus und Wohnung schön und sehr angenehm, nachts wunderbar ruhig und um die Ecke zur Metro - alles super!

  The apartment is in a great spot in a vibrant part of the Marais but was not at all noisy, especially if the windows were closed for the night. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed a few simple meals at the apartment. It was very clean and the person who met us was very accommodating about ...letting us leave our luggage as we arrived on a very early flight. I would rate it highly and would definitely stay there again! The location and well equipped kitchen. The apartment was also very clean and the bed was lovely and comfortable 

  We stayed for 6 nights in late May / early June and really enjoyed our time in the Marais. The apartment is very well located close to restaurants, cafes, bars, bakeries and the metro and is equipped with everything needed for the stay. The owners representative was very pleasant and the handover ...went smoothly. Everything in the apartment worked well although some written instructions for appliances would have been useful. The apartment was reasonably clean but the washing machine and dryer were left full with linens and towels from the previous occupants. Rue des Rosiers is a very vibrant street during the day and early evening but quiet late at night. Also, as the bedroom window opens onto an internal courtyard the room stays very quiet for sleeping. 

  L'appartamento è molto spazioso, ben tenuto, la pulizia è più che buona, il mobilio è buono. La zona molto piacevole.

  We were not warned in advance that there is NO running water in the evenings from 10.30 or 11pm onwards until the next morning(!). We got caught out on the 1st night and one of us was in the shower, still covered in soap and the water just stopped abruptly. We had no water to finish the shower or ...even brush our teeth that evening. I called the owner to let them know but they claimed they didn't know why it would do that. Well it happened EVERY night that we were there.

  Mi sono trovata benissimo, personale gentilissimo, casa molto graziosa e ben arredata, ubicata in posizione centrale, strategica e vicino alla stazione metro di Saint-Paul

  Tutto perfetto per ubicazione alloggio nel miglior quartiere di Parigi, silenziosità, attrezzature e supporto ricevuto.

  Incredible location! Overlooking an amazing cobble stone road, in the most alternative and cultural section of the marais.The building itself is beautiful, very Parisian.The apartment has great utilities and a nice big bed.Cannot wait to stay here again! Loved it :) Location, location, location!

  El apartamento podria llegar a ser genial. Pero hay algunos detalles que no dejan alcanzar esta genialidad. Los utiles de cocina, ollas, sarten, etc... aparecen tirados en un armario en el suelo sin ningun orden. El extractor no funciona. Encontramos en la secadora y la lavadora ropa del anterior ...inquilino. El lavabo perdia agua i debajo habia una olla, la tapa del water estaba rota. Cosas muy faciles de solventar si se tiene interes. Sin embargo las cama era comodísima y todo en general limpio. Excelente ubicación y una bonita decoración.Es conveniente solventar estos cuatro detalles para poder evaluar excelente. Tambien seria de agradecer el hecho de poder dejar en algun sitio tanto al salir como al entrar las maletas ya que en otros apartamentos nos lo han facilitado sin cobro. Falta mantenimiento y un poco de organización en la cocina. 

  Baño necesita una reparación de griferia y tuberias.La ubicación excelente.

  Appartement très bien situé au cœur du Marais.Très calme.Bien équipé - lit confortablePoints négatifs :problème de canalisations qui se traduit pas des odeurs désagréables. (prévoir parfum intérieur !) et ménage a l'arrivée mal fait.

  The employee of the owner was very nice and very helpful - although our flight had a big delay. It was easy to get into contact with the employee of the owner for handing over the keys to the apartment. The apartment was very clean, in good shape, modern and comfortable. The only thing which was ...not so good is that the cleaning lady was disturbing with bringing cleaning stuff to the apartment. That disturbed privacy and afternoon naps.  

  Amazing location. Flat has all the domestic appliances working well. Kitchen is spacious . Flat is quiet so no noise from street. Comfortable beds.owner / staff very professional and friendly. They returned my queries immediately. Will definitively stay again.

  Great apartment in a lively area of Paris. Bed was really comfy and you get so much more space than staying in a hotel. S called to make sure we were ok when running a little late due to train delays.

  Great location, very quiet, well-equipped, easy and smooth dealing with owner.

  Very interesting location with much to see in the vicinity within walking distance. We only had one trip on the metro in the five days we stayed in the apartment. Information provided by the owner was comprehensive and helpful. Bed was comfortable and all kitchen appliances worked. We did not use dishwasher or washing machine as had no need.

  The apartment is conveniently situated close to a Metro Station, shops and restaurants. It is located on an interesting but VERY NOISY street resulting from people and food establishments. The rooms are nice but the bathroom is very tight. It would be nice to have a fan to circulate air during warm... days. I tried twice to communicate with the owner but there was no response. 

  Tout s'est bien passé, tout fonctionnait correctement, le seul bémol: les voisins du dessus qui sont assez bruyants.

  Very basic apartment, bring your own toiletries. Noisy street below window till 11pm often. Good falafel place below wind. Quatier is very crowed, more so than other Paris areas. Not a quiet place. Location is convenient to M1 metro (St Paul)
